Health Precautions
Participation in classes should be postponed

if you are suffering from or have been
exposed to any infection of a temporary
nature (cold, sore throat, communicable
disease), or if you have any cuts or sores

(including recent tooth extractions). If you

have a physical condition that may cause problems during training, please consult your physician and inform the instructor before the class begins.

 

Breaks/Food/Drinks/Snacks
Breaks are up to the discretion of the
instructor. Day-long classes include a
30-minute lunch break.

 

Cancellations/Transfers
If you wish to cancel your registration from a class after we have received payment, please contact us at least three business days prior to the initial date of the scheduled class date for a refund.  A $10 fee is withheld to cover processing.  Course registration fees are nonrefundable if your cancellation is received less than 3 days notice.  If you wish to reschedule a class, you must notify us 2 business days prior to the initial date of the class. We are happy to transfer you to another scheduled class at no additional cost.  Students unable to attend class due to last minute emergencies will be evaluated on an individual basis.

Physical Effort
Some of our classes require physical effort including kneeling and moving on the floor. Participants must be able to perform required skills satisfactorily to receive certification. Certain accomodations may be made for persons with disabilities.

 

Certification/Grades/CEUs
Students receive certification upon successfully completing course requirements. There is a $3.00 fee to replace lost certificates. Continuing Education Units are available for CNAs, EMTs, LVNs, RNs and Paramedics for certain courses.

 

Clothing
Wear comfortable clothing. Please do not wear jewelry or hairstyles that may interfere while practicing on the manikins. Avoid gum, lipstick, perfume, etc. which may damage the manikins. Please note that the chapter is a fragrance-free environment.
